Stagnation and cash-shortage of the market caused that the “Osmancik” type rice prices decrease, for different qualities, down to 50-100 Turkish Cents per kilo (Ykr. /kg). This price decreasion and the decreasion in the stocks, the price expectations for this type will at 1,4 New Turkish Liras cash (YTL) by the middle of april this year.

The fact that the coming season products will not be ready fort he fasting month, will cause, that the rice difficulties will reach a peak during June and July of this year.
